What's Happening Hampton Roads?

The Hampton Roads Hispanic Community Network is all about connecting with others.  We encourage you, your families, friends and neighbors, to consult this area of the Community Network and see what's happening of interest to the Hispanic Community here in Hampton Roads. We have several ways of letting you know what's going on in our community.  First, we encourage you to visit the Hot Event Page to get an idea of opportunities that will be taking place within the next week.  The events may be business, recreation, or culture related, but all of them represent the best Hispanic/Latin culture has to offer. We also have an events calendar for all of the HRHCC's upcoming events.  We encourage you to check this calendar often as new events are added all the time.  Good News for those of you who are "schedule challenged", the calendar system allows you to send yourself a reminder that you wanted to go to one of our events.  And don't you dare consider coming alone!  You can also forward the information on every event to a friend or business acquaintance that you want to connect with.  Its a great system for getting everyone involved in the Community's activities. You may add an event to the Calendar using the access link at the top left hand corner of the Calendar Page.  In addition, each of the Hispanic Communities Sponsored Organizations can build their own web solution, and each of those solutions may have its own calendar, if desired.  Each organization's calendar can be accessed directly from the main Community Network Calendar page.  When you find an Organization you like, its easy to bookmark that organizations site in the "My Hispanic Community" area and visit those pages to keep up with the happenings in your favorite organizations.
