It features a parade packed full of marching bands, fancy cars and floats of all kinds, motorcycles, police and fire vehicles, and a colorful assortment of interesting attractions.
The Denbigh Day Parade and Festival is a great way to meet your neighbors in Denbigh and enjoy a great end of the summer, family festival.
When the parade is over, the fun is just beginning! Stick around and enjoy a big cup of the Denbigh Lions Club's World Famous Brunswick Stew or a mouth-watering Denbigh Kiwanis Club Carolina Barbeque Sandwich. Many other delectable delights are offered by the festival's numerous vendors.
The annual parade begins at 10:00am embarking from Denbigh High School north along Denbigh Boulevard, Right on Old Courthouse Way where it proceeds past the reviewing stand at Denbigh Early Childhood Development Center (the site of the festival) and down to Tabb's Lane where the participants disembark.
